Bringing Pro Ball Back To Jersey!  In the fall of 1990, I began a long journey, spending virtually every waking moment immersed in the effort to bring professional baseball back to New Jersey after a 15-year absence. By 1994, I'd identified partners on Wall Street, acquired a Minor League Baseball franchise affiliated with the St. Louis Cardinals, founded a development company and led an IPO to fund construction of the Skylands Park Sports Complex, which included a 4,321-seat ballpark, sporting goods outlet, recreation center and baseball exhibition hall.

Obstacles? There were plenty. But I had a lot of help along the way.
